Mashed potatoes

A homemade mash is so easy to make, and so good... This recipe is for the classic, old-fashioned mash, without heavy cream or liquid cream, just good potatoes, a little milk, salted butter, all well seasoned and you're done. You will get a very smooth, soft, creamy and tasty mash: the perfect mash to enjoy on Sunday with the family! From now on, the mousseline puree is in-ter-said!

* Ingredients :

Potato 700g

Whole milk 100ml

Semi-salted butter 70 g

Nutmeg 1 pinch

Pepper

Salt

* Methods:

Choose potatoes equal size. Cook them in a large saucepan filled with boiling water.

2Once cooked, drain and peel them (careful, it's hot!) Purée them using a vegetable mill (choose the finest grid).

3Meanwhile, heat the milk in a small saucepan. Once hot, add it to the puree and mix everything with a pastry whisk.

To finish

Add the diced butter, while whisking. Finish by seasoning with nutmeg, a few turns of ground pepper and fleur de sel. Serve immediately.

Enjoy!
